Persuasive writing homework questions, choose 2 of the following questions. Homework Deadline 27th November.

  • Write a letter to your head teacher in which you persuade him or her to either abolish or introduce school uniform.

  • Write a letter to a friend to persuade him or her to come on holiday with you and a group of other people from your school.

  • Write an advice leaflet for people who have just brought a pet they have choosen. The bird can be any kind of animal or bird that you wish. (you might write about, It’s feeding requirements, It’s housing needs, exercise requirements, any special training/taming/handling required. Grooming, or any special problems.)

  • Write an informative article for a general audience entitled ‘Fashions of Today’. (when planning your article it might help to think about different kinds of fashion trends, what fashions say about an individual, whether or not fashion matters.
